2019 Local Scholarship Application
Due Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 2:30pm
The local scholarship are scholarships provided from community organizations. These providers like to see students from their community succeed and, therefore, offer scholarships only to Watsonville High School seniors. There is one application and students will be considered for several of them. You will need to complete the application in one sitting. Read below for important information.

CASH FOR COLLEGE WORKSHOP
Seniors and Parents/Guardians:
WHS will be holding our first Cash for College(financial aid) workshop on October 24th from 5pm-7pm in the WHS Library. This workshop is for seniors and their parents to complete the FAFSA or Dream Act application. There will be financial aid experts to help families navigate through the application process. Please bring the following documents:
Please bring a Chromebook.
(Both student’s and parents, unless student is a foster youth)
• Tax Returns
• 2017 W2’s or income information
• FSA ID (for FAFSA applicants)
• Social Security Card or number, if you have one
• Permanent Resident Card, if you have one
• Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
• List of colleges you are interested in attending
• Most current bank statements
• Any records of untaxed income
• Driver’s license, if you have one
Create a FSA ID High school seniors filling out the FAFSA - Before the workshop, please go to the website: fsaid.ed.gov and create your FSA ID. You will need this ID to complete your FAFSA application. Parents will also need to create a FSA ID, unless the student is a foster youth.
