As an Academic & Career Counselor, a large part of my job has involved helping students conquer barriers to their education. By creating positive, real-world connections and hands-on experience, ROP/CTE programs are able to redirect students--- helping them break through these barriers and regain active participation in their education. I'm a firm believer in Career Technical Education! Helping high school students reach their goals has been a rich and rewarding experience for me and my heart continues to be dedicated to students in need of a supportive system.
